Graduate Employment Workshop held on 29 June, 2022, at the Newlands campus of Varsity College.
The topic of the workshop was personal brand and CV design.
The goal of this event was to equip to equip the youth
with these tools to land their first job.
Rise SA at a latest Graduate Employment Workshop at Varsity College
Given a high unemployment rate among youth in South Africa, this workshop
was specifically addressing this challenge, in order to empower youth to land their first job.
Anna from Rise SA presented on the "Story of the Rise SA Team" and gave practical tips
to the attendees on how to strategize in order to find a job,
internship or other work related opportunity. Anna shared her tips and practical ways of finding
employment opportunities based on her vast experience of studying and working in 4 countries.
Along with Anna, there were other experts sharing their knowledge and practical
guidance.
Overall it was a positive and productive event that equipped students with
many valuable tools.
