To give you an example, we have recently developed Incident Management in Rise School Communicator & created a desktop version thereof, in a direct collaboration with De Kuilen Primary School.
Incident Management for Schools is very important for most schools. Most Schools use paper to record the incident, which then gets handed to a parent. The problem with it is that paper leaflets get lost & hence, the School can't be sure that parents know about a specific incident or specific incidents.
That is why Rise SA Team decided to develop this Module from scratch. It took a couple of month of development & test runs on our side and on the customer-facing side. Now the Module works 100% both from a smartphone & from a desktop computer.
The goal was to assist Schools with this challenge & to automate the process of:
1. Capturing Incidents by Admin person or Educators either from a smart phone or the desktop.
2. Informing parents of the incident(s) that took place on the day.
3. Keeping history & record of parents' viewing of incident notifications.
Incident Management covers the above. Plus, there is also Incident Report that allows Schools to view all the reports for a specific learner or a group of learners for a specific period of time.
After taking just a few steps, Schools will be able to create the Incident, as shown below:
The moment the School posts the Incident, the notification thereof will be sent to parents via a push notification.
A parent will then need to add that he had read the notification.
The same can be done in seconds from the Desktop version.
