Last week we discussed an update on the bulk mailing functionality. Our dev team is still busy doing their magic with developing it. Bulk mailing will empower schools to email all parents at once from RSM.
We had our first demo of the Google Spreadsheet integration to one of our Schools to show the Bursar how it will work in RSM. The idea is that parents fill in the Google Form with the same or more questions as what paper Enrolment forms would normally have.
The difference is that:
Some of you do admin, finances, enrollments and more. It is therefore helpful to have one system that empowers you and covers all the bases. A one-in-one system that saves you time and makes your work easier. A system that covers all schools' stakeholders: learners, parents, bursar, admin staff, principal, SGB, teachers,
Three more schools have started training in RSM. Training helps Bursars to not only learn how the RSM system works, but apply it to the school's processes.
Bursars can ask all their accounting questions & get relevant and timely assistance from our accountant.
Here is some feedback from the Principal whose school has recently started the training in RSM:
"The training was good, and I am very impressed with the platform. I already requested the CSV files from the bank and identified an admin worker to start capturing transactions from 1 January."
Edeon Wyngaard, Principal, Firgrove Primary School
Wishing you all the best with all the preps & regulations as more and more learners are coming back to schools.

The difference is that:
- Parents will fill it in electronically ⇾ less chance for errors
- Admission Officers won't need to capture manually a lot of info ⇾ not as time-consuming as with paper.
- The info in the Google spreadsheet will be mapped to RSM. Parents' & learners' collated info will then be uploaded into RSM.
