Last time we discussed the bank stream additions, touched on different ways of splitting / matching transactions and looked at Enrollments Simplified that went live. If you have missed a Weekly Update#16, you will find it below this email.
The School Forum on Wed, July 29 went great. Find out more details.
During the School Forum, Hanli showed the bulk emails that she has previously set up to reach out to the parents of learners of a specific class or classes. Bursars and Admin Staff can see sent, read and bounced in the Report upon the dispatch of emails.
With the above, Schools are now empowered to see who of their parents have read their emails and who did not. This will help greatly Bursars and Admin Staff in terms of following up with parents.
It was exciting to see other schools that currently use Rise School Management share their insights and input on using different aspects of the system. Learner Data, Income Statement, Batch Invoicing, Communicator, live Billing, 043-Form and more.
Some insights that Bursars and Admin Staff brought up during the School Forum:
1) Mapping is critical to have 043-Form work and be correct.
2) It's a good practice to upload most recent parents' emails before bulk mailing them.
3) You can view 043-Form both Quarterly and by Semester.
This is a recent development and many Schools are happy about it Further to the 043-Form submission, some of you have been checking the mapping to make sure that all the accounts are correctly mapped to the 043-Form in RSM.
If your approved budget is different from the 043 budget, you need to check all the accounts and the mapping to find out what is causing this and fix it.
It was also great to see how Bursars and Amin Officers who were present at the School Forum are open to learning new things. Not only are they on top of what is currently in the system, they are keen to learn and grasp the new functionality in order to do their work even more efficiently and be more productive.
New training video guides have been published on our Youtube channel.
Here are just some of the new videos that you can now watch:
