Key bottlenecksBefore partnering with us, Z1 Grup already relied on 1C:Drive as its primary ERP system to manage inventory, pricing, and customer orders. While 1C:Drive provided robust functionality for internal operations, the company faced significant challenges when integrating it with external platforms, particularly Shopify.
Key issues:
- Manual data entry. The lack of direct integration between 1C:Drive and Shopify meant that product information, pricing, and stock levels had to be updated manually. This process was time-consuming and prone to errors.
- Delayed updates. Without real-time synchronization, stock levels on Shopify often became outdated, leading to potential overselling or customer dissatisfaction.
- Order management complexity. Orders placed on Shopify had to be manually entered into 1C:Drive, increasing the risk of mistakes and slowing down fulfillment.
Z1 Grup needed a solution that would automate data exchange between 1C:Drive and Shopify, ensuring accuracy, speed, and scalability.
Direct integration between 1C:Drive and ShopifyTo address these challenges, Z1 Grup chose to implement a direct integration with Shopify in 1C:Drive. This is how it works:
1. Connecting Shopify to 1C:Drive. The integration begins by linking your Shopify store to 1C:Drive. This is done through an API connection, which securely syncs data between the two platforms.
2. Automatic data transfer. Once connected, the integration automatically transfers key data from Shopify to 1C:Drive. This includes:
- Items
- Warehouses
- Inventory levels
- Customers
- Orders
What's more, it is also possible to send updated inventory levels from 1C:Drive to Shopify, ensuring both systems stay synchronized.
Users can inform the system what to do with new customers or products. If they don’t exist in 1C:Drive, users can create them with a single click or match them to existing entries.
3. Real-time updates. The integration ensures that data is transferred in real-time or at scheduled intervals, depending on your settings. This means your financial records in 1C:Drive always reflect the latest sales, stock levels, and customer information from Shopify.
4. Error handling and history tracking. 1C:Drive provides a detailed history of all data transferred from Shopify. This includes:
- A log of successfully imported data.
- A record of any errors or issues that prevented data from being recorded (e.g., missing information or deleted entries).
This feature allows you to quickly identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring data accuracy.
